The anticipation and physical toll were palpable. "I go from the bullpen, and I jog out to the mound. The only thing I'm thinking is, 'Don't throw up, don't throw up, don't throw up, don't throw up.' And it's a long jog," Webb humorously recalled.
Unfortunately, Webb's woes continued on the mound, where he surrendered three runs on three hits during his appearance. "I was like, 'Oh no, this is going to be a long day.' And it was a long day," he reflected on his performance. Despite the less-than-ideal outing in the All-Star Game, Webb’s overall contribution to the San Francisco Giants during the regular season has been significant, showcasing his resilience and talent.
